Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, the Machinist is responsible for CNC programming.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Services all the process development and machine building requirements of plants located in Suffolk County and other USA locations
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance

Job Requirements

  • A solid, underlying knowledge of setup and operating techniques for metalworking machine tools, with the primary emphasis on milling operations such as Mill, Lathe, Grinder etc.
  • Must have experience with CNC machinery and able to do minor editing in programs
  • Must be able to read mechanical drawings
  • Ability to do your own set up and operation required
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
